“Timetell takes a lot of work off our hands and saves us a great deal of time.”

FM Group is an international trading organization in the flower and plant sector. With a worldwide network, the company connects more than 40,000 florists and wholesalers with thousands of growers and producers of flowers, plants, and accessories.

In 2015, FM Group began searching for a new time registration system. One of the most important requirements was a clocking system that could handle breaks flexibly. After an online search and several demonstrations, Timetell came into the picture.

“What immediately stood out was Timetell’s flexibility,” says FM Group’s HR department. “Because the system is built modularly, we selected only the components that were relevant to us. We use Time Registration as the main module, supplemented by clocks in which we configured our own break policy.” There are now a total of nine clocks installed across four FM Group locations. And it works very well.

Always Up to Date

The software is actively being developed further. FM Group notices this in practice. “Timetell stays current thanks to regular updates. These updates are well announced, almost always error-free, and include useful improvements. For example, the recent additions related to the new GDPR version.”

Expand When Needed

Another important factor is scalability. “As our organization grows, Timetell simply grows with us. We can expand licenses or add extra modules whenever needed. And this happens quickly and smoothly.”

Working with the Timetell App

In addition to Time Registration, FM Group also uses the app and modules for Leave & Sickness, Integrations, and Mail. “Our employees differ in background, education, and nationality. The transition from paper timesheets to a digital solution took some getting used to at first. But now everyone uses the app, mainly to view clocking and hour balances or request leave. It works well because the information is always up to date.”
